Before I began writing board game and video game reviews, I blogged.  This began late 2011 over on a free WordPress account.  It was a great way for me to vent and share my thoughts on a variety of subjects.  Recently (December 2012) I moved most of those personal articles over to this site, mainly because managing two WordPress accounts became a pain.

This particular page contains those articles that don’t fit under the board games / video games category.  It should be noted that they are not as family-friendly as the main content on this site, so proceed with caution.  Some of them even contain some pretty strong opinions…readers should keep in mind that opinions are all that they are and thus shouldn’t nerd rage over my personal views.

Thanks!

I happened upon your blog in an overwhelmingly futile attempt to find myself, and I have to say, it’s quite impressive. You’re the only other Vincent Paone I’ve come across, and I’m glad to find you’re a logical, intelligent person. You give our name a good name. It’s my understanding that there’s under 5 Vince paones in all of the US, and it’s good to know at least two of them aren’t mindless idiots, as that seems to be an increasingly popular way of life in our culture. I don’t really know what point I’m trying to make here, I just felt the need to say something considering what we have in common.

Thanks, I appreciate that! I hope you manage to find your way…it’s not an easy process and it always seems to be a neverending one, but once you figure out (and accept) the person you truly are, you’ll be much happier. I wish you the best!
